Being able to strike her with every single character who is available makes a huge difference. The Hag, for example, is much easier if you can either one-shot the cauldron every time someone's tossed in *OR* ignore that someone's in there and keep hammering her with high damage, or high DOT, attacks. Easily cured costing less than 25% of my profits. Everyone lived, minor negative traits for two and a disease for the third. I walked out with a trinket, lots of heirlooms, and nearly 10k so I wouldn't exactly write it up as a "loss". The dungeon chewed me up and spit me out. I'd simply taken too much damage and stress damage to have a reasonable chance at winning. I recently did a run to kill the third iteration of the Prophet and had to pull the plug a couple rooms before the boss fight. Planning, and retreating if things go poorly, are things to consider. Also, having the RNG hit the right numbers at the right time - like a couple high damage crits - can really help. Good trinket selection can help a lot, or hurt a lot if you focus on the wrong things. I think each boss fight is much easier if you have certain characters in your party, or if you have the proper skills to deal with that boss' attacks, position, and defences.
